Jeppson pickups are by far my favorite. In my quest for tone, he has becomemy go to person for hand wound pickups. I have them in all of my main basses. They work amazingly well passive ( I have them in my 2 Jazz Basses and my P Bass) and they still maintain the richness when used with a preamp. They are great for live shows and quiet enough to use in the studio. I absolutely love them and recommend them to every bassist I know.

I've been using Bryan Jeppson's Hand-Wound Pickups for over 10 years. They have an unbelievably rich, accurate, and truthful tone that you would expect from a pickup that is married to a high end boutique instrument. I am proud to use the pickups that Bryan has designed, I recommend them to any player without reservation, and I am even prouder to be able to call Bryan a friend. Thanks for all of the amazing years and continued success with your top of the line pickups.

I remember the first time i tried a Jeppsen pickup. I was totally blown away by the touch sensitivity, versatility, definition and most of all by the character of the tone which so many other pickup brands seem to lack in. Bryan was kind enough to design a signature pair of pickups, which are ideal for the variety of styles I combine in my music ,
I strongly recommend you to check them out!
